Call for a scholar in Islamic History and Law, from Egypt, Jordan, or Syria

I'm happy to report that the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, US Dept of State, has confirmed funding for our proposal for a Scholar-in-Residence under the Fulbright program for next winter-spring.  Our proposal called for a scholar in Islamic history and law, from Egypt, Jordan, or Syria, who would teach a course in Islamic history for the College, Islamic law at the Law School, and be available to all departments and the Global Stewardship program as a guest speaker and resource.  Since we did not request a specific scholar, they are now seeking suitable candidates for us.  I will let you know when they have candidates for us to consider.
