¹H-¹⁵N HMBC Spectroscopy of Complexes Relevant to Green Chemistry

Complexes of macrocyclic polyamide ligands protected against oxidative decomposition have proven their importance in environmentally friendly ("Green") reactions of industrial importance.  Recent results from the Uffelman lab indicate that these complexes are amenable to study by 1H-15N HMBC spectroscopy.  15N chemically shift values obtained for these complexes could reveal important patterns that would be of predictive power in elaborating this field of inorganic chemistry.
