ArtsLink2004 - performing arts and literature awards that enable artists and arts organizations from the U.S. to work in cooperation with artists and audiences in Central Europe, Russia, and Eurasia.  Deadline:  January 15.

 

University of Notre Dame Center for Philosophy - Offers the Alvin Plantinga Fellowship ($40,000), awarded to a distinguished senior scholar; two Postdoctoral Fellowships ($25,000); the Frederick J. Crosson Fellowship ($40,000) reserved for foreign scholars and those outside the field of philosophy; and one Visiting Graduate Fellowship ($14,000) awarded to a graduate student in philosophy who is working on a dissertation in the philosophy of religion and who would profit from spending a year at the Center. Deadline:  January 15.

 

Center for Theological Inquiry - Members in Residence Fellowship - The purpose of the Center of Theological Inquiry is to encourage research into the content and significance of the Christian faith and to promote its critical engagement with non-theological disciplines, various religious traditions, and other forms of spirituality.  The Center is a community of scholars.  Members-in-residence are expected to participate in the life of this community.  They are invited to meet for worship every Wednesday morning, and the staff provides tea each afternoon and an informal luncheon every Thursday, opportunities for fellowship and informal discussion of research and publications. In addition, sometime during their terms (that vary in length from a few months to one full year), resident scholars present an aspect of their projects to fellow members and invited guests. These sessions generally take place on Wednesday evenings, once or twice each month.  Deadline:  January 15.
